DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR...
Are you feeling isolated because COVID has disrupted your experience in grad school?
Do you wish you had a community of fellow grad students to connect with?
Are your current strategies not helping you see results?
Are you unsure where to even start on your courses or your thesis?
Are you struggling to get everything done on time and have energy to do what you want to do?
Are the workshops you’re attending not helping, and you’re wondering if you’ll ever finish your degree?
If you’re nodding along to any (or all) of these questions, then we’d love for you to join us for Spark!
WHAT IS SPARK?
Spark is designed to provide grad students with an individualized approach to help you:
Identify your strengths and weaknesses as a student while prioritizing your life and mental health both in and outside of grad school
Prioritize and set effective goals for a range of times and tasks, from semester goals all the way down to a 2-hour work session
Figure out the challenges that are getting in the way of finishing your degree and choose strategies that actually work
Take a step back to decide if you are on the right track or if you need to make some changes
Spark is based on our FLOW framework, which contains the core elements for academic success: Foundation, Ladder, Obstacles, and Wheelhouse. As educational psychology experts (and former grad students), we did all the hard work for you and condensed theory, research, and practice about effective learning and created a framework designed specifically to address the struggles and challenges facing grad students today. You can use FLOW to help you take big steps forward in your degree and accomplish your goals without burning out.
Every other week, you can join us live in Zoom for one hour where we will walk you through the FLOW framework and help you apply it to your own unique grad school journey while connecting with other grad students who are in similar shoes. You’ll also have access to worksheets, resources, and self-assessments that will help you gain valuable insight and optimize your progress.
